Types of Financial Aid

WUE: Western Undergraduate Exchange

WUE is a program in which Western states cooperate to charge students 150% of the in-state tuition rate. This is a significant savings over the out-of-state tuition rate.

Career Advance Colorado

Through the Career Advance Colorado free tuition program, students who enroll in one of the following training programs will have their tuition, fees, course materials, and other costs covered while funding is available:

  • Construction
  • Education
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Firefighting
  • Forestry
  • Law Enforcement
  • Nursing

To enroll, students must apply for federal or state financial aid. Contact your intended community or technical college to learn about program options, financial aid processes, and application steps.
