When is Graduation rehearsal?

• Thursday, May 14th, 2026
• Please arrive by 1:20 p.m. 
• Rehearsal will start promptly at 1:30 p.m. 
• Location: Main gym. 

How long will rehearsal take?

• Approximately 1 hour (if everyone is on time - longer if people are late)

What should I do if I haven't ordered my cap and gown yet?

• Contact Jostens ASAP! Please call the Jostens local office at 303-985-0095.

I have a question about my Jostens order - who do I contact?

When will I receive my cap and gown?

• May 7th
• CHS Main lobby 
• 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

I didn’t pick up my cap and gown on the designated date - what can I do?

• Come EARLY to graduation rehearsal - May 14 before 1:15 p.m.

What do I need to do in order to receive my cap and gown? 

• All students must:
  • complete their counseling surveys
  • return their Chromebooks 
  • clear all outstanding fines and fees

How many people may I invite? 

• No per family limit. There are no tickets or reserved seating at Red Rocks.

What time can we arrive?

• Doors will open 1 hour before the ceremony. 

Can I park for free?

• No,  Red Rocks charges per car to attend the ceremony. See parking link for information.  

My family wants photos…

• Graduation photos are taken of each Graduate backstage as well as when they cross the stage. Photos can be purchased from Grad Images at 1-800-628-4509 or by visiting gradimages.com.

What are the Ceremony Expectations?

• Students must report to the top of Red Rocks 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
• Graduation is a celebration and ceremony (not a party).
• Dress appropriately
• Refrain from noisemakers and airhorns
• Be respectful to graduates and attendees. 

My family can’t make it - - how can they watch?

• CHS works with a third-party vendor to livestream graduation on the day of the event. A recorded copy of graduation will be available the day after graduation. Both links will be available on the website.

Can I park for free?

• No.

Can I prepay for parking?

• Yes! Red Rocks charges $12.50 per car paid in advance, tickets for parking can be purchased online at Columbine High School Graduation Red Rocks Amphitheatre

I didn’t prepay - what are my options?

• $15 at the gate (credit card only, no cash).

We have a family member who requires accessibility accommodations - what should we know?

• Reserved seating will be available in rows 1-6 of the amphitheater. Space is limited; we ask that only one additional person per family sit in the designated area. No tickets will be issued for this area.
• Row 1 is reserved for wheelchairs only.
• Shuttle buses will be available from the Upper South Lot for the elderly and those with a disability only. All others are expected to walk.
• You do not need to contact the school if you plan to use the shuttle or reserved seating, it is available to all guests, free of charge.

Is graduation outside?

Yes, Red Rocks is a beautiful outdoor venue. Graduates and attendees should be prepared for the weather and changes to the weather. 

What if there is a significant weather event?

We will post information on our website and social media.

When will I get my diploma?

• May 20, 2026
• 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 
• Counseling Center

Can I have my nickname printed on my diploma?

• Diplomas will have the legal name from Campus printed on them.

Graduating students will lose access to their Google files effective July 31. Follow the instructions download your files.
