Academic Clubs

The CHS Book Club is welcome to anyone who would like to read a good book. We will meet every other Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. Members will choose the books throughout the year.

Compete in coding challenges or practice coding.

DECA is a student-centered organization specifically designed to focus on leadership development and personal growth for students in marketing education. Students can travel and compete at various events.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is open to students who have or are taking Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) classes. The club helps students improve personal, family and community living while leadership skills are developed.

Develop speaking skills and compete at various contests and levels. Students may be enrolled in Forensics and Debate classes or speak with a coach.

Membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Available to grades 11 and 12 only. Rebel mentors assist other students with personal and academic issues.

Operates as a class both semesters. Students produce various publications, including posters for school announcements. This class helps students gain journalism and business experience.

Consists of elected members of the student body that represent the school and host various events throughout the year for students including homecoming and prom. These students also serve as the voice for the student body on school-related issues. Elections are in the spring of each school year.
